In July 2025, we broke down with our new car, a Peugeot 208 GT Hybrid that was only a few months old. The car wouldn't start. We called Peugeot Assistance, who then contacted the ANWB (Royal Dutch Touring Club). The ANWB representative advised us to take the car to an authorized garage. The nearest Garage Wisse in Terneuzen is an official Stellantis dealer. I called immediately to make an appointment. Initially, things went smoothly: an appointment was scheduled immediately, and a loaner car was arranged for us for the following day. The next day, I drove the Peugeot to Garage Wisse. I first checked in with the woman in charge of the loaner cars. She was very friendly and helpful. She already knew I was coming and helped me quickly. She did, however, indicate that I should first report to the workshop counter. Things went much less smoothly there. I received a rather cold reception and was immediately questioned about whether I even had an appointment. The tone was unnecessarily sharp. I responded by calmly but clearly stating that an appointment had indeed been made and that the loaner car department was aware of this. The reception felt anything but customer-friendly. Nevertheless, I handed over the keys and was told they would look at the car. The first week I heard nothing at all. I called myself to inquire about the status. I was then told they hadn't looked at the car yet. In week two, the situation remained unchanged. I had to call myself then as well, and the communication was simply poor. In weeks three and four, it was exactly the same story: no proactive contact from the garage at all. It wasn't until week five that I decided to contact them again. By then, more than a month had passed. To keep it short: it wasn't until the eighth week that I finally received the news that the entire gearbox needed to be replaced. Fortunately, this repair was carried out within two weeks. In that last week, I was kept well-informed by a different employee. But by that point, my confidence in the service had practically vanished. After a total of two and a half months, I finally received the redeeming phone call that I could pick up the car. But even then, the reception was anything but warm. You'd expect that, after such a long wait and poor communication about a car that wasn't even a year old, there would at least be a warm welcome, a cup of coffee, and a sincere apology. A clear explanation of exactly what was wrong and why it was taking so long would also have been appropriate. Instead, the emphasis was mainly on the fact that the replaced part cost €11,000—something that's irrelevant to me as a customer. After all, it's a new car, and these kinds of defects simply shouldn't happen. Summary of my experience: • Reception at the loaner car department: excellent • Reception at the garage counter: very poor • Communication throughout the entire process: very poor (this was only okay during the last week) • Reception upon pickup: very poor A negative experience like this will make me want to share my story negatively with others. I will therefore definitely not recommend Garage Wisse in Terneuzen. Tip to Garage Wisse: Aftersales and customer experience are crucial, especially on an island where "we know each other" is the rule. Even if the car wasn't purchased from you, you represent Stellantis and are therefore a calling card for the brand. Customer focus and clear communication can make the difference between a satisfied customer and a lost one. UPDATE: Following Wisse Automotive's response, in which they stated that they took responsibility for the mistakes made and acknowledged them, I want to emphasize that this is the most important thing for me. My goal isn't to put companies down, but rather to give them a positive wake-up call so they learn from their mistakes and work on improving them. Because they acknowledged this and are taking steps to improve, I'm giving them three stars.

Altijd fijne en duidelijke afspraken. Wij komen hier nu een goed jaartje en zijn blij met de keuze om hier onze auto aan te schaffen en te onderhouden.

Door een fout van hun is een aankoop van een auto niet door gegaan. Ze wilden een goedkopere versie voor een duurder versie verkopen. Ze wilden nog wel iets aanpassen, maar niet geheel. Een excuus kon er ook niet vanaf.

Really value their customers!! Very good place. But make sure you like the car before you buy and don't get tempted with what they say. Also make sure that the price is worth it.
