After driving our Twingo for 21 years, we bought our new car at Auto Tromp almost two and a half years ago. "You only get one chance to spend it," said Roy, the salesman. "Well, if we do, it's definitely with you! You're so open and honest." Our car still needed a new timing belt. Not every garage is equally honest, so my husband, in particular, was unsure whether that would actually happen. Roy said we'd receive a video via WhatsApp during the job and took us into his own workshop where his mechanic happened to be working on a similar project. Five days later, we duly received the video, and we were able to pick it up shortly after. They even had a dent removed without any consultation. Fantastic! Now, more than 28 months later, we're still driving our lovely Ford with great pleasure. We are very happy and satisfied! 100 points!!

Our experience with this car dealer was absolutely terrible. On January 2, 2026, we bought an imported 2021 Opel Corsa for €14,925 and paid €1,000 in advance. From that moment on, a series of delays, incorrect information, and empty promises began. The delivery was scheduled for January 17, but we called the day before and were suddenly told that the RDW (Netherlands Vehicle Authority) had requested a re-inspection and that the registration could take another 10 business days. Appointments for updates were not kept. When we called the RDW ourselves on January 28, it turned out that the information we had received from the dealer was simply incorrect. When we called the dealer back, we were told that there had been a "mix-up" and that they thought we were someone else. A new delivery date was promised, this time with a "compensation": the premium plus delivery package worth €1,195 would be free. The final delivery date was February 7th, with the agreement that we could cancel free of charge if this wasn't met. We already knew this date wouldn't be met after contacting the RDW (Netherlands Vehicle Authority) on February 5th. But when we called Roy, he was convinced he could still make it, but an appointment wasn't yet possible. On February 7th, we were again told the car wasn't ready. We canceled the purchase and the deposit would be refunded. Surprisingly, the same car was back online almost immediately—this time for €14,725, €200 cheaper than what we'd bought it for. On February 11th, Roy called us again, confirming that it was almost ready. The registration was due any moment now, and they still needed an MOT and some damage repair. They also offered a new deal: €14,000, without a delivery package, and only a 12-month BOVAG warranty. After everything that had happened, our trust was completely gone, and we decided not to go along with this. Only after this conversation did we receive our deposit back. Despite all the positive reviews, our experience was the opposite: poor communication, inaccurate and inconsistent information, broken agreements, and a complete lack of transparency. We consider this company unreliable, and we advise everyone to be extremely cautious. Addition: Roy contacted us after this review. He claimed the car already had a license plate, but we didn't get this clearly. The delivery package would only be adjusted based on polishing, as this had already been done to relist the car. A major service with the timing belt, etc., was supposed to be included, but we weren't told this.

Very bad service even I don’t want to give one star To them I took car from them 3 months ago when I was driving home from garage car give the emergency signal I inform them they said they will fix it and now it’s 3months they have my car they are saying it’s still not fixed. I said them for take car back they are saying it’s impossible and they cut the call that was very nonsense act.That was my biggest mistake I took lease car from them. Car had engine problem and they already know about that then they was not allowed to sale the car but at that time they was too much sweet talking and giving respect but when I said them car have big problem take it back then them reaction was too much different and they was saying it’s impossible. Today I call for update salesman said it’s not ready I said that’s I hear every week from you please take care back with saying anything person said bye and cut the call.

The car they sold me is good and the price is also reasonable. However, their service is bad. I opted for "Premium Plus Afleverpakket", which includes a full tank and "Interieur detailleuring". They said when I come get the car, the tank will be full and the car will look like new because it's getting a deep clean. Just getting information was a hassle. I signed on Saturday and was promised that the papers for ownership transfer would be in my email inbox on Monday. I told them that I will then go to the RDW to get the car transferred to my name. On Monday, nothing was in my inbox, but giving them the benefit of the doubt, I just figured they are very busy and I will get it the next day. The next day, I had to call them three times. At 09:30, they promised I will get the necessary documents by 11:00. I waited until 13:50 to call them back and they said I will have the documents within 30 minutes. All my interactions so far have been with Roy. At 15:30 I called again, asking for the documents, and Jochen (the other owner, I believe) picked up. He prepared the needed documents while was on the call, took 5 minutes and I finally had the transfer documents. When I came to pick up the car (Friday, March 28), the tank was only 7/8th full and they only did a very rough vacuuming of the car - there were many dirty spots and crumbs still all around the car, for example in the middle console. There was very clearly no interior detailing done and the tank was also not full. I did not bring this up with them because did not have had time to get the car detailed or to argue with them. In essence, they scammed me out of a few hundred Euros. Additionally, they told me that I will get the AutoTrust information in the afternoon. But as expected, nothing came in the afternoon - they even told me to call them back if I don't get anything. So the following day I called and asked about the information, to which I was told very coldly "it's weekend now, just wait." The week after, I also did not get anything, so I called back (Monday, April 7th) and got hit with the standard response "oh yes I shall do it today". Nothing happened until I finally sent them an email on the 10th of April, and on the 11th of April I got the AutoTrust information. I am immensely disappointed by them telling me they will do things and then not following up on it. I do not mind if they had told me "sorry, it will take 2-3 days", I would have just waited those days. But promising me multiple things and then simply not doing that? Absolutely not good customer service. I opted for their most expensive service package and they did not deliver. I initially chose Visser & Tromp because of their good reviews. However, I did not get the service that people have been writing here on Google Reviews - I don't know why, but everything except for the car itself was simply bad and unprofessional. I really hope that they will take this feedback to heart and don't treat another customer like this again
