Extremely unprofessional service . Wrong information and mistakes for which the customers have to pay . You Buy BMW premium to have a peace of mind for car maintenance as well as professional service . But Van Peolgeest ruins all the other expectations you paid for . The service employee(both from Hilversum and Amsterdam) first informs that I have a service contract so I don’t need to pay anything And then right after the service they send a invoice for 1000 euros saying the employee has left the company and the information he gave you was wrong . They additionally deny to also help in any way to reduce the impact it had on their customer . To my experience they lie on your face and there is nothing you can do about it .

Really bad service and incompetent service staff. I have asked for Firware update instead they updated maps and collected the invoice amount which is not necessary. I asked for particularly firmware update / i-setp update. Service advisor mentioned it will may take few hours and if any issues I should get a call. No information until evening 4:30PM and I called up whether my vehicle is ready. I went and checked my vehicle after settling the invoice. To my surprise firmware/i-setp is not updated instead latest maps version which is not relevant (I can get it through online/connected drive). I came back and expressed my displeasure and the service advisor has no clue. after 15 minutes speaking someone he mentioned kafas has malfunction hence firmware is not updated. I have asked whether it needs to be repaired or replaced but he don't have any clue. If firmware cannot be updated due any issues, why service advisor could not called me and update? why did they update maps which is not required?

Totally incompetent staff at service reception. I made an appointment to renew SCM 3 alarm certificate, which is needed for insurance coverage of theft. They renewed certificate for keyless protector instead and tried to convince me that this only what is needed for the insurance. If I trusted their words and my car was stolen, insurance would not pay out. When I double checked with insurance company, dealer staff agreed that this was indeed not correct type of the certificate, but they could not fix it. Only if I bought alarm system from them, they can issue the certificate. Nobody even tried to refund for the work that was not done properly, even despite the fact that invoice states SCM3 inspection and renewal, which was not done. Went to a different official dealer and they arranged everything super fast, but before even called this dealership and tried to convince them to issue the correct certificate. Would definitely not recommend using Van Poelgeest Hilversum due to highly non professional behaviour, and for me it’s absolutely clear which dealership I would use to service my car in the future.
