After making an appointment with our local garage, which is located far away, we asked them to inspect the faulty start/stop function and rear window wiper. They said the battery needed replacing and the wiper blades were inspected. Both were extremely expensive. So, we went to our local garage. It turned out the battery was fine; after a software reset, the start/stop function was restored. The rear window wiper was reset with a single click. In short: if you don't want to risk being ripped off, it's best to avoid Vakgarage Amstelland / Berkelaar.

Top mechanics! And a great price. I had two electrical problems with my 2007 Passat: central locking and a headlight malfunction. Everything was fine again for less than €100. So, perfectly handled :-)

A garage the way it should be! Excellent service, customer-focused, and helpful in emergencies. In our case, the car was repaired the same day, and they did everything possible to help us. Clear communication and fair prices. Many garages (including brand dealers) in the Amstelveen area could learn a lot from this. All in all, highly recommended.
