It was clearly stated that my car regularly stalls when it gets warm. Now they say they've done two short test drives and couldn't find anything. BUT NOW I HAVE A €157.00 INVOICE. NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN

New brake discs and (ATE ceramic) brake pads were expertly installed all around on my 2005 Audi A6 3.0TDI Quattro with 414,000 km on the odometer. They also addressed any other issues, such as erroneous parking sensor messages. I received excellent service and excellent communication.

I've been a regular customer at Smits for years. This year was the last time. For the past three years, the MOTs haven't felt fair. We have two cars, and often, strangely enough, the same, expensive things needed to be repaired (something with the steering wheel that you can't reach yourself; we didn't feel anything unusual while driving, and it should have been. There was no difference after the repair either, but we're not experts, so we paid and forgot). But this year it was truly exaggerated! They wanted to replace four tires, the front left tie rod end, and two brake cables! (860 if I remember correctly.) When I asked if they could show me what was wrong, the man nervously responded, "We're not going to talk like that, come take a look!" It turned out that only two tires failed the MOT, still €660! (I paid €61 per tire elsewhere, including everything) Brake cables (the guy couldn't show me what was wrong, he said, "You have to look closer with a mirror to see it") were rejected because "reinforcement material was visible," which wasn't the case (even after asking a professional to replace them, they weren't really nice anymore, but according to him, they weren't rejected yet, see photo). I had them rejected. I ordered the brake cables and tie rod end myself. It cost €40 together, including shipping! (With YouTube and basic tools) I replaced them myself, which took about 45 minutes! Which means (860 - €400 tires) that they charge €400 for 30 minutes (experts with professional tools) of work! Simply ridiculous. I can pay a bit, I don't mind, but not if I'm being ripped off! I don't recommend this company to anyone. SCAMMERS
