Thirteen years ago, I bought my Suzuki Splash new from Kanters en Bolenius (Ribo). I've been a customer there for maintenance and service for all those years, and I've always had good service. That's precisely why my recent experience was so disappointing. It's not like it used to be since the company was acquired. When I called to make an appointment, I was told they wouldn't have an opening for another three weeks. Of course, that can happen at the end of the year, but what really bothered me was the way I was treated. The receptionist was anything but customer-friendly and completely unhelpful. I explained that I was entitled to a replacement car through my Suzuki insurance, but that I had to "figure it out for myself." No effort was made to help or offer any assistance. What makes it even more galling: for 13 years, I've always had my car serviced there, except once or twice, when they didn't have any space and I was forced to have a major service done elsewhere. That shouldn't be a reason to treat you like that as a customer. For me, this was the last straw, and I've since switched to Kooijman Autogroep, where personal contact and customer focus are paramount. It's a real shame that things turned out this way, because after so many years of loyalty, you expect more commitment and service. Apparently, the new owner's policy has changed.

Friendly and helpful staff. They offered a fair and reasonable price for my trade-in car, and their used cars are also competitively priced. Another plus is that they were very helpful and, in my case, found a suitable and attractive solution for an extra set of rims and tires. This is the first garage I've encountered that doesn't charge delivery fees. And yet, they still provide a service and MOT upon delivery.
