A hefty €80 to have my car suspended!? Scammers. I finally did it to save on unnecessary costs. But the moral of the story is this: this is another excellent example of how much they love to charge in the Netherlands. Fees have absolutely no practical purpose and have nothing to do with labor costs. Transferring a license plate is almost the same process, and that costs €11.
