"Had an appointment for a certain time and got there on time. However I was ignored for 10 minutes as I rang the bell twice and called the people that were clearly on the other side of the half opened door. After that, a gentleman told me to wait. Still after that, I went to meet him when he finally sat at the desk to let him know about the appointment I had, that should take one hour but was already some 15 -20 minutes in. He asks for the keys of the car. I hand in the keys and wait for a few minutes. The car was still where I left it and all the lifts were occupied. I decide to ask this gentleman what was the time expectancy to start the job. "1 hour from now", he says non-challantly, "we still have a car in front of yours". No excuses, no I'm sorry we're late, just a take it or leave it attitude. He then elaborates: "we can cancel it, no problem". And immediately requests the keys and hands them over to me. I got the impression that I should be the one saying sorry to bother them at such an inconvenient time with my scheduled appointment 3 weeks in advance. What's the purpose of an appointment then? Is it that hard to admit you're late and show that you respect the client's time? I can only conclude it is, so I'm taking my money elsewhere, where people respect my time."
