Very disappointing experience with a new Škoda and poor service Last June, my husband and I bought a new Škoda from this dealership. We were the first owners, but unfortunately, from the start, we encountered all sorts of problems—and the garage was unwilling to seriously resolve them. We initially reserved a specific car, but before that week was over, it turned out it had been sold to someone else. Later, we were told that a similar car was arriving from the factory, which we ultimately purchased. When we placed the order, we indicated that we wanted a tow bar. We were told that there were problems with the factory installation, but that this would be resolved "in the fall." We waited patiently, but months passed—fall, winter, spring—without any news. Only when we inquired about it did we discover that they had already been installing tow bars again without notifying us. After the installation in April, the software problems started: • The front parking sensors no longer work • The windshield wipers aren't working properly • The dashboard lights can no longer be adjusted (they stay at full brightness, which is dangerous in the dark) • And we can no longer log into the car via the app We went to the garage in May with all these complaints. They said they couldn't fix the problem themselves and that they had to consult with the factory. A new appointment was scheduled — two months later. The car was with them for two days this week, but nothing was done. Only now has information been sent to Škoda, and they say we have to wait until September for a solution. Meanwhile, the car still isn't working properly. In addition, there were brake problems from the start: we hear a loud, sharp noise when braking. According to the garage, there was "nothing wrong," but in the end, the brakes were replaced — and we had to pay €600 for it, even though the car is still under warranty. After my last visit, it's even gotten worse: I can no longer log in as the main user in the app—something that used to work. Today I went back to politely ask for help. The response: "It's not a big deal," and that I should just wait until September. No replacement car, no solution, no real service. We are now in contact with a lawyer to take further action. Based on our experience, we absolutely do not recommend this dealership.

The service at Autoland Van Den Brug (especially the Skoda department, and especially Djaël Witteveen) is top-notch. As the owner of a Skoda Enyaq 85 Sportline I bought from them, I couldn't be more satisfied. Their advice and information, plus the trust they instill, are impeccable. The car performs excellently and hasn't had any issues during its first year. He's been very pleased with the use (including fuel consumption and range) of this Skoda. A positive story about a great company. 👍🏻

On the last day of the year, a huge compliment to the team at #vandenbrug in Heerenveen. My son's car was stranded near Apeldoorn on Friday (broken heat exchanger). Picked it up Monday and it was already repaired today, despite the incredibly busy weeks. Excellent service, thanks in part to good friend Ype Boelens. I highly recommend taking your car in here.

I bought the car as a second owner 10 months ago with a Bovag warranty here. Everything was fine until last Wednesday, when on the way home from work, the car started having an exhaust problem, so I had to drive to the nearest authorized dealership as I live far away from van den Brug service and left the car there - it was no longer safe to drive. The following day, I contacted the gentlemen at the Van den Brug dealership about the situation and shared the findings and relevant data with them, they responded quickly and delivered on their pre-sale promises! A man's word is still a man's word in this difficult time! They immediately communicated back, then agreed to solve business with this dealership near me. My car was fixed the same day, no headache, no unnecessary complications. I believe that the after sale service is what proves the quality of dealership's service.
