Very disappointed with the professionalism and service. The car had always been serviced and inspected at Ford, but for convenience, I wanted to be closer to home (and not in Binckhorst), and this one was recommended. The car is now 10 years old, so Ford had already alerted me last year that the timing belt needed replacing this year. I mentioned this beforehand when scheduling the MOT and minor service. It didn't seem to be a problem. I brought the car in the morning, and Mr. Ballering brought it up himself and didn't seem to doubt his own abilities. In the afternoon, I received a call to say the car had passed its MOT and the minor service had been performed. He didn't say a word about the timing belt, so I inquired about it. It turned out he couldn't do it and didn't have the right tools for it, and that I would have to have it done at Ford after all. I told him that if he had mentioned this earlier, I would have had everything done at Ford. Then I would have gotten a discount on everything, kept Ford's roadside assistance service, and the car would have gone through the Ford car wash for free. I would have only had to go to a garage for one day, losing the car. Incidentally, I was far from cheaper here compared to the Ford dealership. The cabin air filter was replaced without consultation, even though I'd asked beforehand to be called if anything was found. Ballering's website states "with consultation and advice upfront, you'll never face financial surprises." There was no consultation, no advice, the bill was an unpleasant surprise, and now I still have to send it to Ford. When I expressed my dissatisfaction about the lack of communication, my shoulders were shrugged somewhat indifferently. No professionalism, no service, and therefore, not recommended in my opinion.

Very dissatisfied with the last repair work. Replacing the steering gear was clearly too difficult. We went back three times, and the ANWB (Royal Dutch Touring Club) also diagnosed the problem and advised him. He couldn't manage it, so we finally had it repaired quickly at Vak-garage. As agreed, he said he would compensate us, but unfortunately, he didn't keep his word. So now we're footing the bill for the extra costs and many inconveniences. A poor job indeed!
