Having serious car trouble, I found a garage 200 meters from Hoogendijk with the help of the ANWB (Royal Dutch Touring Club). The quote they provided was incomprehensibly high, even for a layman. I'd done some research, particularly about the approximate cost of the parts (a clutch kit), and after a few phone calls, I found Hoogendijk. They immediately gave me a realistic quote, with the caveat that there might be an additional charge, but that this would become apparent during the repair. Completely understandable and transparent. That's what we appreciate. In the end, Hoogendijk could fix the car for just under half the price, using high-quality parts. And it even included an MOT. The communication from the garage regarding updates was excellent, by the way. We're happy to have found a new, reliable garage nearby. And that other garage, 200 meters down the road, I'd give it a wide berth...even if your car isn't working!

The man said I'd be with you in a minute, but it took a long time, so I got into my car. He was very stressed and made me feel completely unwelcome. Luckily, I found another garage, and they were cheaper too.
