I saw the accident almost happen, but somebody ran into my parked Saab. Every accident is unfortunate, but this one was even more so. The alarm went off and I could not turn it off with the key I had. The person who hit my car wanted to do the repairs without involving insurance. I wanted to help, so I promised I would try to get the key to work with the car using my second key, which worked at first. It's a long story, but in the end, neither key worked. Not every local garage understands Saabs, and at one point I thought I wouldn't be able to use the car for weeks. However, Autobedrijf Harteveld came to my rescue and resolved the problem within two days. They surprised me positively every time, too. I would recommend them any time. As for the cost, it was the going rate, but it was still expensive for a pair of keys. In the end, we went through the insurance, and nobody could believe that bumping into the car could cause problems with my keys. I was not compensated for the cost of the keys. The good news is that I now have two working keys with a Saab logo on them, and Harteveld managed to recover one of the broken keys, so I have three in total!

I bought a 2008 9-3 "Intro" (Linear) from Leo Harteveldt at the dealership in 2021 in the midst of the pandemic. Car is nice, although there have been many things wrong since buying it- AC condensor failed, rear passenger window mechanism failed, remote keyless entry failed, ABS failed (left me stranded - €1200 in repairs, outside of BOVAG), brakes and other problems that had to be dealt with. He is a rude person, refused to help, would not send me an invoice for the work done, when i went to pick up the snow tires, one of the tires was missing the cover, which should have been done before I arrived (he knew I was coming), he would not assist me in loading them in the car, just walked away without saying goodbye or thank you. I drove 45 minutes from where I live to buy this car from him and I would NEVER buy another one from him ever again.
