I visited H Point in Gorinchem for an annual service (Jaarbeurt) a week ago, but unfortunately, my experience did not meet my expectations. After driving 10 km home, I checked the oil level and found that it had been overfilled. Only after removing 0.5 liters with a syringe did the oil level return to the "max" mark on the dipstick. The oil was dark brown, which made me doubt whether it had even been changed. I sent an email inquiry and was told that Total Quartz Ineo First 0W30 ACEA C2 had been used. However, when I went to the service center, the mechanic showed me that EUROREPAR C2 0W-30 oil had actually been used. This oil is primarily recommended for brands like Citroen or Peugeot, while my Hyundai, according to the service manual, recommends using Shell Helix oil. What’s more, since the car was new, it has always used 5W-30 oil, as specified in the service book. When I first visited this service center 5 years ago, it was still called Visscher Hyundai Gorinchem, and they informed me that the car was filled with 5W-30 oil. Since then, 5W-30 has always been used. I don’t know why, after 5 years, H Point suddenly switched to 0W-30 without any explanation. This inconsistency raises further questions about their approach to servicing. I believe the mechanic poured the correct amount of oil (3.6 liters), but the issue might lie elsewhere – perhaps something is clogged in the engine. Unfortunately, the mechanic did not take the initiative to check this. He didn’t even come out to the car to personally verify the oil level or investigate why it had been overfilled. This left me feeling that the problem had not been properly diagnosed. Additionally, the invoice stated that the windshield washer fluid had been refilled, but upon checking, it turned out this was not the case. Only after my intervention did they bring a watering can, check for leaks, and bring pink (summer) fluid. I refused to use it because it was summer fluid, and the nighttime temperatures dropped to -4°C. Only after my request did they bring the appropriate winter fluid. The invoice also stated that the car had been washed, but it was not. Moreover, it was noted that the air conditioning had been checked, even though my car is not equipped with it. This suggests that some items on the invoice were simply ticked off without the actual service being performed. After 5 years, I returned and was disappointed again. The quality of service at H Point has not changed since the last time, when, during a repair, my knock sensor was damaged. Despite reporting a loss of power and issues with the turbocharger, I was told that everything was fine and that the computer showed no errors. The problem was downplayed, but specialists in Hyundai Lis Auto Center Kalisz (Poland) diagnosed and fixed the issue by replacing the sensor. The car worked properly again. I reported this to the Hyundai Motor Netherlands B.V. , and Hyundai Dealer in Gorinchem had to refund me. Unfortunately, after 5 years, I returned and once again encountered negligence and a lack of professionalism. I paid €250 for the service, which seems quite high, especially since it appears to have been primarily an oil change. I would like to emphasize that this is solely my opinion, and I am not making any formal accusations. However, my trust in H Point in Gorinchem has been completely lost.

Extraordinary service. I have serviced two Ioniq EVs and everything went well. In one occasion I had a problem with a faulty fuse, which was caused by another Hyundai dealership, and the people in Gorinchem diagnosed and fixed the issue in a heartbeat.
