They suggested to get a new ECU for my hybrid car for about €3000. They are also not able to perform software updates or programming of the car and they still claim to be Mercedes Specialists. My car was fixed in the end by an other specialist, the starter engine was broken, a €200 part, it was changed the software had been updated and the car is working perfect. I recommend to look for other garages if you don’t want to lose a lot of money on their faulty diagnosis. I also got my small battery changed by them, their offer was a cheap chinese battery in the end I had to get my own Bosch battery if I wanted a better quality battery to be installed by them, since the installation the car was always giving a “malfunction” message, it was also fixed in the end by an other garage.
