To anyone considering leaving their car with this person or garage in Sneek — be warned. Especially if you're unfamiliar with the area or a foreigner: don't do it. I left my car with a man named Andrei. He told me he had his own place in Sneek and assured me he would replace the timing chain in one day. We had a clear agreement: I'd get the parts, he'd do the repair. With confidence, I drove from Rotterdam to Sneek — a long journey — because I believed his words. What followed was pure deception: My car sat for a full week. When I got it back, more was broken than repaired. I ended up having to go to a certified garage, where I paid an additional €1800 to repair the damage. The original repair in Sneek cost me €1,800. To this day, I'm still waiting for a full refund—money I wouldn't have had to lose if this agreement had been honored.

Great garage!! Super friendly and knowledgeable owner, who's happy to lend a hand or offer advice if needed. I highly recommend coming here to work on your own car, especially if you don't have a lift and/or specialized (hand) tools. The price/quality ratio is also excellent.

Bert the garage owner will help you if you're stuck. Excellent DIY garage. You can use all the tools, and the advice is free. You can rent the bridge for an hour, half a day, or a full day. Reservations are required in advance. Great coffee.
