Inquired what it would cost here to have a wet timing belt from a Ford Focus replaced with a water pump and tension rollers at the Ford dealer, it costs 1850 euros at Carprof 3000, he said yes sir, he will also take the oil pump with him 😅😅

Today I went to Carprof Spijkenisse to repair my tire (it had a nail in the tread). I called ahead to ask how much it would cost to have a tire repaired from the inside using an umbrella. The operator said it would cost 25 euros. I did think this amount was a bit low, but hey, 25 euros is 25 euros. Then I brought the rim and tire and, as instructed by the receptionist, gave it to the mechanic. After about 5-10 minutes, the mechanic returned with a repaired tire. I happen to be knowledgeable about tire repair and know that a tire cannot be repaired from the inside in this timeframe. The receptionist came to let me pay. I asked him if the tire had been repaired from the inside, and his answer was no, from the outside, but that's just as well. Even though their website states this is a less reliable method of repair (see photo). After some discussion about this, he finally had the tire repaired from the inside for 25 euros. I'm dissatisfied with how this process went; it felt like I was lured in with a small price and they hoped I wouldn't know anything about it. Repairing a tire from the inside after a repair with a plug is also not recommended. It doesn't look as smooth as after a proper repair without a plug.
