Had a minor service done last year, good price and delivered promptly. Last week I had a problem with a worn thread on the back of the drum brake. Despite being busy, they helped me quickly and were able to pick it up within a few days...great company, very happy with it! A good company where you can go for any car! Don't call them if you have a problem and haven't even discussed whether they think it's possible. You'll immediately be told it's not their problem and that they won't help you any further. They're all talk from here to Tokyo. It's pure coincidence that I called them about a problem with my car, and my mother called a few years ago about having the automatic transmission flushed. Exactly the same story. It's impossible to communicate with them.

Gerrit and Ronald offer advice and brainstorm ideas. Gerrit is a good guy, but sometimes things don't go his way. He can come across as blunt and rude, but if you let him get his point across and let it sink in, you often have to agree with him. Last year, I had some serious bad luck with my car, which cost me a fortune. Ultimately, it was my own choice, and because I'm a driving enthusiast, I decided against my better judgment to invest in a 2009 BMW 318D after driving it for four years. The car went to Autotess for a thorough checkup. First, one part failed, then another, finally the turbo failed, and then it got really bad when the particulate filter and timing chain were due. The engine ran like a charm. So I started looking for a 318i, because, well, diesel is just as expensive as gasoline, and I was fed up with particulate filters. It's still a beautiful car, and I love a sporty car. Gerrit also thought it was a beautiful car and a wise choice, partly because he understands me. BMW gives a special feeling. Anyway, I bought it without a warranty, from a dealership unrelated to Gerrit. Gerrit gave it a major service and fixed as many of the problems as possible. I'm absolutely thrilled. If I may give Autotess and Gerrit a tip, don't let them fool you. Cars have to work. The outdoor area can sometimes look a bit messy, but the guys and lady at Autotess work hard, I can attest to that after so many hours of personal and phone contact. If the phone isn't answered, they don't have time for it. Too bad. You'll just have to drive by if you really need to go. I love these kinds of companies with solid expertise. People who are helpful and who think along with you.
