Two years ago, my brother bought a Toyota Corolla Verso at Digo in Delft on the recommendation of a colleague. The salesperson said it was a good car and swore he could guarantee it. Within a few weeks, the Toyota Corolla Verso was already experiencing problems (several strange malfunctions, resulting in numerous calls to the ANWB roadside assistance service). It turned out to be a pig in a poke. After numerous malfunctions, headaches, and frustrations, contacting the ANWB roadside assistance service, and having the car read out at various companies, we decided to have my brother's Toyota Corolla Verso, with a semi-automatic transmission, repaired in the Schiedam area. The disappointment was even greater when, after a few city trips, the malfunction returned to its original state. From July to the end of August, we returned at least six times to have the malfunction repaired under warranty. I finally went to the TOYOTA Corolla Forum, looking for people who knew about those semi-automatic transmissions. The name of Rob from Autotechniek Emmeloord kept coming up there. (It was quite a drive, but 100% worth it.) I found Autotechniek Emmeloord through Facebook and contacted Rob. Rob listened to the problem and immediately provided an analysis of it and his approach. His approach, rhetoric, and vision regarding the shifting problem with its recurring malfunctions convinced me of his expertise. During our conversation, Rob immediately indicated that the electric motor that shifts gears was causing the problem. We finally made an appointment with Rob and drove the car to Emmeloord on September 27, 2025. We met a very nice and honest man there. Within minutes of the diagnostic, Rob realized what was wrong, even when it was already getting dark. The shifting engine hadn't been replaced and was completely postponed, even though the Schiedam-based Automatic Transmission company insisted that everything had been completely replaced. I picked up the car a few days later, and the exceptionally smooth transmission surprised me, as the car had been shifting jerkily for the first few days. Rob offers a 12-month warranty on the repair, and you can always call him for advice in the meantime. Within a week of the repair, the next problem arose (a faulty starter motor). I called Rob, and he remotely explained how I could temporarily get the starter motor working. We made another appointment with Rob, and within 20 minutes, the starter motor was replaced with a new one (free labor), and we could return to Rotterdam. Rob had to leave very early the next day because he was going on vacation with his family. Despite the limited time, caused by long traffic jams on the way to Emmeloord, he still took the time to replace the starter motor. Here are some reasons to return to Autotechniek Emmeloord for repairs: You'll receive a friendly welcome and excellent service, with a personal touch playing a key role. You'll receive thorough and courteous service. They'll work with you to keep costs manageable. They provide excellent problem analysis and problem-solving. They don't charge astronomical amounts for repairs, but a fair price. The repairs were carried out excellently. I've made it clear that we'll definitely seek Rob's help and advice when we buy another car, to minimize the chance of buying a pig in a poke again. Dear Rob, you've helped us tremendously, after all this time being sent packing by other pseudo transmission companies! There are few good, genuine companies in this world, but also a lot of terrible ones. I drove the Toyota today, and it still shifts very smoothly and as smooth as butter. You will definitely see us again for repairs and purchases at your company.

Honest and friendly person. It is a big challenge to find a reliable garage and seller. I have been driving Ford Focus Wagon for over a month now problem. Happy with purchase. I came all the way from Den Haag and no regrets.Thank you again Rob!

After a whole lot of hassle and misery (frequent trips to the garage/repairs) with our Peugeot 308, we finally found a good and skilled car mechanic. Rob is very helpful and figures out the problem very quickly. Everything that had already been replaced has now been replaced again, but this time exactly right by Rob. We wish we had gone here sooner; it would have saved us double the costs :p All in all, we recommend Rob to everyone and will definitely come back here again should it be necessary :)

Autotechniek is a good and competent independent company. We had a broken car and put it up for sale. We contacted Rob through Marktplaats, and we quickly struck a deal. Rob came to our town to trade in the car. We had it there within two days. Rob is always willing to answer questions via WhatsApp or by phone. It's a shame Rob is too far away for maintenance, etc. We had a problem with the air conditioning, and Rob immediately told us to come to Emmeloord and it would be fixed! Rob is a knowledgeable guy! Our car was taken to someone who said it took 10 hours, and even then, the mechanic didn't know what was wrong. Rob figured it out very quickly! Don't hesitate, buy a car from Rob. If you live nearby, I'd recommend having your maintenance done at Autotechniek Emmeloord.
