I went on an avalanche for the first time this week. The service was fantastic and I was back on the road within an hour. The owner is a nice, honest guy. I'll definitely be back.

I came here with an automatic VW Golf after hearing a radio commercial claiming they were automatic transmission specialists. They claimed the filter in my transmission wasn't easily accessible, so they could only do an oil change. They flushed 5 liters of oil, and then put in 2.5 liters of new oil. They asked me to pay for 9 liters of overpriced oil. Later, I discovered that the filter is located directly behind the oil pan and was changed in half an hour. They also added too much oil because they had checked the wrong level. I went back. "Oh yeah, you're right, and we'll fix it." I said I'd have time in a month or two. The car was parked during that time, so it wasn't driven. Two months later, the owner told me the case had already been settled and that he certainly didn't intend to correct his mistakes. Unfortunately, my legal assistance is useless in disputes with garages that are NOT affiliated with BOVAG. You've been warned, it's better to go to a garage that is affiliated with BOVAG instead of these heartless people!
